Who I am:
When we go to someone, searching for advice, who do we approach? Someone we trust, who we align with, feel comfortable around, and relate to, right? Well this is even more the case when we’re choosing a coach; they’re going to be working with our wellness! What could be more important than that!? So with this in mind, and in my effort to help you understand me a bit more, here’s a little about me:
Hi! My name is Tara, I’m from Lebanon and have lived in Canada for 8 years now! I’m lucky enough to speak English, French and Arabic, and with these language skills comes strong communication abilities. There’s a few things that really make me tick:
Indulging in delicious, healthy homemade Ayurvedic food. I love fueling my body with the right nutrition (and the right herbs & spices), it just makes me feel so good and so alive!
My yoga practice. Connecting with myself, for myself. Prioritizing my wellbeing every morning.
Breaking a sweat! There’s nothing like a good HIIT workout to get the endorphins flowing.
Helping others. It’s a fundamental part of humanity. Having a positive impact on someone’s life, seeing someone breaking through makes it all worth it. It’s as simple as that.
Why I do what I do:
My approach to life: Focus on what you’re good at and master that! What I love and strive to do is connecting with people on a deep level. Seeing them for who they truly are, hearing their stories, and helping them on their journeys. My other strength is planning and organising; I thrive when I’ve settled into a strong, healthy routine. I wanted to help others find the same strength…
In 2017 I set out to become a certified Health & Nutrition Coach from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. As soon as I graduated, I began helping people eat better, sleep deeper, realize their superpowers, and live to their fullest potential.
As an Ayurvedic Therapist and councillor at Ayurveda Vancouver I provide specific Ayurvedic body therapies, consults and treatments to alleviate various mind-body dis- eases and imbalances. Those include techniques for deep relaxation and improving overall nutrition and wellbeing, sleep, detoxification of the body, emotional release, reducing stress, depression and anxiety, digestive issues, arthritis, and thyroid and hormonal issues. My treatments are hands-on, and utilise specific oils, herbs, foods and techniques tailored to the imbalance of the individual.
To add depth to my qualification, I completed an advanced 200hr Tantra Hatha Yoga course at the acclaimed The Practice, Bali. What an experience that was! I now was able to guide people through conscious movement, breath-work and meditation from a scientific, informed position.
Combining these skills with my experience and my self-acceptance, I’m now in a position to guide those looking for similar peace of mind. I continue my studies, and I’m currently on route to becoming an Ayurvedic Practitioner through the Yoga Veda Institute. I’ve also undertook courses with the fantastic coaches Tony Robbins and Dean Graziosi, always learning, always growing.
I’d love to help you grow too…
